I BIMESTRE: WHAT TIME IS IT ON?

Exercise 1: Read the text and answer the questions. Write the answers in red.

Example:

The weather is interesting; I watch it at 6:00 am.

·       What time is the weather on?

Ø It’s on at six o’clock.

I love to watch documentaries. I watch them at 8:15 pm

·           What time is the documentaries on?

  Ø It´s on at eight fifteen.

    My sister is a big fan of reality shows. She watches them every afternoon at 6:30.

    ·       What time is the reality shows on?

 It´s on at six-thirty

Every Sunday morning my family and I watch the news at 9:00. 

·                   What time is the news on?

    Ø It´s on at nine o`clock.

Chris: What is on TV?

Katey: It is on “You got the answer”. It is really good. Let’s watch it.

Chris: No, thanks. I don’t like game shows.

Katey: So, let’s watch “Friends” it is a good sitcom. I love sitcoms.

Chris: Ummmm, I don’t know. Wait a minute. What time is it?

Katey: It’s four forty- five.

Chris: Oh, the sports are on at five o’clock

Katey: Oh no!, I don’t like sports.

    ·       What kind of TV program is “You got the answer”?

Ø It is a game show.

    ·       Does Chris like game shows?

    Ø No, He doesn´t.  

    ·       Does Katey like sitcoms?

    Ø Yes, She does.

    ·       What time are the sports on?

    Ø It´s on at five o´clock.

  Ø It is a reality show.

    ·       What time “The voice” is on?

  Ø It´s on at seven-thirty.
