Exercise 1: Read the text below and answer the questions. Write the answers in red.


- I ran a marathon all the afternoon. I need a lot of water.

How does she feel?
  • She is thirsty.
I need to sleep. I woke up at 5:00 am and I worked all day.

How does he feel?

  •      He is tired.
I have an exam tomorrow .I study all day but I don’t understand anything.

How does she feel?

  • She is confused.
I don’t like this movie. I am sleeping at the cinema.

How does he feel?

  •  He is bored.

PEG: Hi Max, Oh! You look terrible!
MAX: Yes, I know.
PEG: Why?
MAX: I have an important am tomorrow.
PEG: Did you study?
MAX: No, because I am so tired, I worked all day.
